Traditional Victorian details meet crisp and clean modern lines. We were commissioned to remodel the ground floor and attic of this large detached house to create a space more suitable for a busy family with young children. We rebuilt the extension and created extensive openings into the dining room and kitchen using a large glass rooflight to flood the area with light. The whole space works as unit whilst keeping the identities of the individual zones. Upstairs, the attic rooms were consolidated into a master suite, complete with skylight for moon-gazing.
