Originally part of an Edwardian church hall that had been converted into flats, Murphy|Davé were commissioned to re-design the apartment entirely by a return client. We created a large open studio bringing in light and arranging bedrooms in separate wings. Master bedroom was planned in a glass extension floating over a pool of water, the garden redesigned to wrap around the house with herb terraces and water rills. Limestone, timber floor and a burgundy cowhide clad sliding wall add to an understated luxurious feel.
House Of The Day in The Wall Street Journal
The appartment “offers some of the best contemporary design you are likely to come across…there is a seamless and logical feel to the place… there are no ostentatious trimmings, no chandeliers dripping in gold and no garish design statements …”

“…it quite simply puts you in a good mood, there is a sense that everything is right with the world.”
