Murphy|Davé worked with the clients in the design and planning process for a complete refurbishment of the ground floor flat and the rear of 1^st floor flat to achieve a light filled open plan space. The extension was designed to be a well insulated timber framed building and clad in vertically aligned charred larch cladding. The floor-to-ceiling window opens out to a beautiful garden designed and planted by the clients. Windows are double-glazed, argon filled with a minimal powder coated aluminium frame. Further insulation gained by sedum planted flat roof.

Murphy|Davé also advised the clients on design and build for the timber shed in the garden which was constructed completely by the clients guided by self tutorials complete with a sedum planted flat roof!
