This new home, on a cliff over the river Yealm was crafted from local stone, timber and glass. The interior was designed to make the most of the spectacular views across the estuary and to create an elegant and practical living space complete with a cantilevered balcony. Zinc roof and cedar cladding ensure that the structure will age gracefully. Cliff shoring up works and new steps from the river were undertaken. The home is situated within a conservation area and an area of outstanding national beauty.
